Turn public building permits into actionable construction intelligence. Discover newly permitted projects, identify the contractors leading them, and uncover the opportunities relevant to your trade, before the job is common knowledge.
Real projects from City of Austin records, qualified by our engine. No signup needed for the sample.
Anyone can download the city’s permit file. Almost nobody has time to clean it, merge it, and judge it. That is the work we sell.
Issued-permit records come from the city’s open data portal, and every project is tracked from first sight, so nothing old is ever re-sold as new.
Permits merge into single projects, leads are classified, record confidence is scored, and bad data (missing valuations, implausible values, thin descriptions) is flagged, not hidden.
The projects that match your trade, who leads them, what they imply for you, and a link to the source record for every single one.
Raw feeds sell you every permit as a lead. One remodel can pull five permits. We merge them into one project, and show our reasoning on every card.
In our latest 30-day Austin run: 4,690 permits fetched, 794 excluded as final, expired, withdrawn, or otherwise inactive, and the remaining 3,896 grouped into 3,064 projects.
Every project carries a record confidence score and the exact basis for it: how recent, whether a GC is named, whether valuation and square footage are on record, how many permits corroborate it.
Class A: a general contractor is named on the building permit. Class B: no GC of record; a trade party or applicant is named instead. Neither class claims any scope is unfilled; the record does not say, and we do not pretend otherwise.
A kitchen remodel is associated with cabinets, countertops, tile, and fixtures. We map scope to the trades that perform that work, and label it as inference every time.
What we never claim: that a permit guarantees available work, that leads are exclusive (they are not; other firms in your trade may subscribe), or that city valuations are contract prices.

No. We will not sell you that word. Several firms in a trade can subscribe; your edge is seeing the project the week it issues and knowing who leads it.
It means the scope implies it and the permit just issued. Only the GC knows their sub list. We show our reasoning so you can judge before you spend a minute.
Yes. The free sample linked above is generated from live records by the same engine that builds the paid digest, and your first two digests are free.
When signup opens, the first two weekly digests for your trade are free, no card required. After that it is $59/month if you choose to continue, and every digest carries a one-click stop. We will email only the digest you ask for, never anything else, and we never sell or share your address.
