The preference questions
Your answers are the matching. Two contractors in the same trade receive different digests when their answers differ, and every project that fits your answers is included.
Trade or specialty
Your primary trade, plus any specialties inside it, so a tile installer who also does shower glass is matched on both.
Market and service area
Your city (Austin is live now) and the ZIP codes you actually serve. Projects outside your area are left out of your digest.
Residential or commercial
Residential, commercial, or both, so remodelers are not buried in office towers and commercial crews are not buried in bathroom renovations.
Project types
The kinds of projects you want, such as new construction, additions, and remodels, as they appear in the permit records.
Project value range
Your preferred range, applied only where the city record carries a reliable valuation figure. Placeholder values in the records are never used to filter your digest.
Email for delivery
Where your digests go. Delivery is by email only; there is no dashboard or database login to keep up with.
How matching uses your answers: projects are filtered to your preferences and ranked by a preference match score, which describes fit only. It is not a probability that work is open or that you will win a contract. If a cycle genuinely has no new projects that match you, you receive a short no-new-matches note instead of a padded list.
